Sergio Sepúlveda Valenzuela
Geologist and Diploma in Environmental Management from University of Chile, M.Sc. in Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, United States and PhD from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom.
His main areas of interest are: Engineering geology, geotechnics and rock mechanics; geological hazards: landslides and seismic hazard; applied geomorphology.
Currently he is an associate professor at the Department of Geology of the Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Sciences of the University of Chile, and Director of the School of Engineering at the University of O’Higgins.
