Claudia López

Geologist from the Universidad Católica del Norte with more than 24 years of experience in different mining operations, mainly in the north and center of the country, where she has developed her work in gold and copper deposits, participating in different stages of geological-mining work, being the exploration in the north of Chile the main axis of her professional career. This has allowed her to interact and lead various working groups and enhance geology, management, and leadership.

 

Since 2012, she has been a part-time academic at the Universidad de Playa Ancha, Instituto Domeyko, San Felipe in support of the preparation of mining technicians and geology technicians. Since 2020, adjunct professor at the Universidad Santo Tomás for the Geology course in charge of Metallogenesis.
