Awarded by the Chilean Association of Geologists, the Mente et Malleo award distinguishes groups of professionals and private companies that have made a contribution to geology.

Juan Brüggen” Medal of Merit:

Awarded by the Chilean Association of Geologists, the “Juan Brüggen” Medal of Merit honors those who have had an outstanding participation in Geology.

Oral and Poster Presentations:

As a way to promote Geosciences research in Chile, by supporting early career researchers (undergraduate and graduate students), the XVI Chilean Geological Congress will award recognition to the best oral and poster presentations in each thematic area.
