AT 6-9: History of Geology.

Description: This session aims to generate a space for discussion on the historical development of geology, inviting all professionals interested in this subject. Within this scientific discipline, works that rescue and highlight the history of institutions, outstanding scientists or iconic characters that have contributed to the understanding and conceptualization of geology will be considered. The aim is to show the development of Earth Sciences within a philosophical, political, and social context, highlighting the observations, hypotheses and theories that led to the current knowledge of our Earth System.
