Patricio Cuadra
Geologist graduated from the University of Chile in 1978, with more than 40 years of professional experience in the field of economic geology. He began his professional career in 1975 in uranium exploration in Chile. In 1979 he joined the National Copper Corporation of Chile (CODELCO), serving between 1979 and 2014 in mine geology and exploration in the operations of the Salvador, El Teniente, Radomiro Tomic and Andina divisions, reaching the position of Superintendent of Geology in the last two, and in regulatory functions as Director of Geological Management in its Head Office. Finally, between 2015-2020 he was Director of Advanced Exploration and Geological Resource Evaluation at Exploraciones Mineras Andinas S.A., the exploration subsidiary of Codelco Chile.
He has authored/co-authored numerous publications presented at national and international conferences and journals, as well as teaching at Universidad de Chile, Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María and Universidad Católica de Valparaíso.
