Description: The session corresponds to a continuity of the Andean Tectonics Symposium held for several congresses, which includes papers in Geotectonics, Structural Geology, Geophysics covering the context of the Andes and the subduction margin, at different spatial and temporal scales including the early development of Gondwana and South America, including the study of ancient orogenesis and tectonic events, as well as on current processes in development including seismotectonic processes.
