Description: data science has played a fundamental role in decision-making across diverse industries in recent years. Supervised, unsupervised, and reinforced learning techniques have been applied in a various and creative ways, allowing for the resolution of a wide range of human problems and challenges. However, in geology and mining, we are just beginning to utilize these powerful tools in a creative and applicable manner to achieve our objectives.

In this context, participants are invited to present contributions on innovative ways to apply data science to geominerometallurgical challenges. It is expected that these contributions will be based on concrete and demonstrative examples of the importance of integrating data science with geological knowledge.
